Britain’s Most Admired Companies 2011

TelecityGroup is a finalist for the 2011 Britain’s Most Admired Companies awards. The awards, organised by Management Today, are based on the results of the Britain’s Most Admired Companies survey, a peer review which asks the management of 200 of the UK’s top companies about organisations they admire. Now in their 19th year, the awards are an important indicator of the success of Britain’s highest performing businesses.

National Business Awards 2011 Finalist

TelecityGroup has been shortlisted for the prestigious National Business Awards 2011 in both the ‘Growth Strategy of the Year’ and ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ categories. Winner: 'Best Investor Relations Site'

TelecityGroup has been named as the winner of 'Best Investor Relations Site' at this year's Stevie International Business Awards. TelecityGroup was also a distinguished honouree in several further categories, including 'Company of the Year', 'Corporate Social Responsibility' and 'Environmental Responsibility'. Judged by an international board of leading professionals, the awards showcase the best and most innovative achievements of companies and individuals worldwide.

Voted for by the readers, the ‘IT Operator of the Year’ categories reward companies who have invested in the best possible and efficient technology. Shortlisted for the 'Best Execution of Corporate Sponsorship Activity'

TelecityGroup has been shortlisted for this year’s Corporate Engagement Awards, for the ‘Best Execution of Corporate Sponsorship Activity’ and the ‘Most Effective Long-term Philanthropic Scheme’ categories. TelecityGroup has been shortlisted for ‘Data Centre Provider of the Year’ at the Data Centre Solutions Awards 2011. The awards are a brand-new set of end-user focused awards that recognise the successful implementation of products and services that have made a significant contribution to their organisations' IT environment.

The ‘Data Centre Provider of the Year’ category is for companies that provide innovative services that have tangible benefits either in terms cost savings or efficiency gains for a wide variety of end-users in the UK. Greenbang Award 2010

Winner: ‘Best Data Centre Innovation’

TelecityGroup has been named winner of the ‘Best Data Centre Innovation’ category at the Greenbang Sustainability Awards. The awards acknowledge top sustainability efforts from businesses working to create a low carbon future. The Group was recognised for its newest Paris data centre, Condorcet, for its innovative, efficiency-maximising design.

The Data Centre Europe Awards 2010

Winner: ‘Best European Colocation Facility’

TelecityGroup has been awarded ‘Best European Colocation Facility’ for its new Condorcet centre in Paris at the 2010 Data Centre Europe Awards. The awards recognise service quality, management excellence and technical achievement for the European Data Centre industry. TelecityGroup’s Condorcet data centre has been recognised for its innovation both in terms of design and operational quality, making it one of the most technically advanced and energy efficient data centres in Europe.

CIR Business Continuity Awards 2010

Shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Infrastructure’ category at the 2010

TelecityGroup was shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Infrastructure’ category at the 2010 Continuity Insurance and Risk (CIR) Business Continuity awards. The awards, run by industry publication Continuity Insurance and Risk, recognise UK companies that excel in the fields of business continuity and operational risk management. The ‘Excellence in Infrastructure’ category rewards organisations that have shown expert business continuity planning in their long term strategies by building resilient and efficient IT infrastructures.

Business Charity Awards 2010

Michael Tobin finalist for ‘Business Charity Champion’

TelecityGroup CEO Michael Tobin has been named a finalist in the ‘Business Charity Champion’ category for the Business Charity Awards 2010. Michael Tobin is not only a Board member at charity Byte Night and Chairman of the Loomba Trust, but also actively encourages TelecityGroup employees to take part in fundraising and volunteering activities.

2010 Stevie International Business Awards

Winner of Investor Relations Program of the Year

TelecityGroup has been awarded the Stevie International Business Award for the best ‘Investor Relations Program of the year’. The award recognises how TelecityGroup’s approach to investor relations is grounded in making the right business decisions so that value is created for investors.
TelecityGroup was also named a distinguished honouree at the 2010 Stevie International Business Awards for seven other categories. These include: ‘Multinational Company of the Year in Europe’, ‘Most Innovative Company of the Year in Europe’, ‘Executive of the Year in Europe’ and ‘Management Team of the Year’.
